How to simplify your next installation with Solplanet Commercial Hybrid Inverter Solutions

The new commercial hybrid inverter solutions from Solplanet bring greater flexibility too Australia’s growing solar and energy storage market. The expanded portfolio combines three-phase hybrid inverters with scalable low-voltage batteries. As a result, installers can design systems for different applications and energy needs.

Why Choose a Commercial Hybrid Inverter for Solar and Storage?

Australia’s energy landscape is changing rapidly. Therefore, businesses need flexible solutions that can adapt to changing energy requirements.

Solplanet’s new three-phase hybrid inverters support larger solar and storage systems. They also provide advanced energy management and multiple configuration options.

The portfolio is designed for larger residential, commercial, and energy storage applications. In addition, installers can combine the inverters with scalable battery solutions.

This approach makes it easier to build systems around each project’s requirements.

A Commercial Hybrid Inverter Designed for Larger PV Systems

At the centre of the new portfolio is the ASW TH Series. This range includes five three-phase hybrid inverter models.

The available models are:

  • ASW015K-TH
  • ASW020K-TH
  • ASW025K-TH
  • ASW29.9K-TH
  • ASW030K-TH

The series covers power ratings from 15 kW to 30 kW. Therefore, installers have more options for larger solar and storage projects.

Commercial Hybrid Inverter Performance and PV Oversizing

The ASW TH Series features four independent MPPT trackers. Each MPPT supports up to 40 A of input current.

The inverters also support up to 200% PV array oversizing. This allows installers to maximise the potential of larger PV systems.

Battery configuration is also flexible. The inverters support battery voltages from 120 V to 800 V. They also provide up to 100 A of charge and discharge current.

Depending on the model, PV arrays can range from 30 kWp to 60 kWp.

Advanced Energy Management and Protection

The ASW TH Series includes several features designed for demanding installations.

These include:

  • ShadeSol shadow management
  • Dynamic export power control
  • String-level current monitoring
  • DC Type II surge protection
  • IP66 protection

The IP66-rated design supports both indoor and outdoor installations. Furthermore, UPS-level switching takes less than 10 ms.

This fast switching helps support continuity of supply during backup operation.

The series also supports diesel generators. In addition, installers can use parallel operation with Solplanet’s Ai-Hub.

Therefore, the system can support more complex energy configurations.

Scalable Battery Storage for Commercial Energy Systems

A flexible inverter needs a suitable storage solution. For this reason, Solplanet has also expanded its low-voltage battery portfolio.

The AP-L Series provides scalable storage options. The solutions focus on simplicity, safety, and installation flexibility.

APL8.0-S2: Flexible Low-Voltage Energy Storage

The APL8.0-S2 provides 16.08 kWh of nominal and usable energy. It uses LiFePO₄ battery technology.

Its stackable design supports up to three systems in one tower. This provides up to 48 kWh per tower.

The overall system can also expand to 241 kWh.

Installation is designed to be straightforward. The battery features a plug-and-play architecture and a low-profile design.

It supports both indoor and outdoor installation. Safety features include an emergency fire suppression module.

The battery also includes IP66 protection. Its safety-enhanced battery management system supports precise diagnostics.

Under the conditions specified in the datasheet, the battery supports up to 6,000 cycles.

APL15.0D-S: Compact and Scalable Storage

The portfolio also includes the APL15.0D-S low-voltage battery.

It provides 15.07 kWh of nominal energy. Usable energy is rated at 13.95 kWh.

Like the APL8.0-S2, it uses LFP technology. It also focuses on safety and ease of installation.

Up to three batteries can be installed in one tower. This provides a total tower capacity of 45 kWh.

The overall system can expand to 225 kWh.

Both battery solutions offer greater freedom when sizing storage. Their compact designs can also support installations in space-constrained areas.

These areas can include garages and walkways.

A Commercial Hybrid Inverter Ecosystem Built for Installers

The new portfolio is designed around the complete installation experience.

Installers can configure, install, monitor, and scale systems more easily. At the same time, flexible battery configurations support different project requirements.

Smart commissioning and monitoring are available through the Solplanet App.

Robust protection features also support reliable system operation.

Together, these solutions create a more connected energy ecosystem.

More Flexibility for Australian Solar and Storage Projects

The expanded portfolio strengthens Solplanet’s offering in Australia. It combines 15–30 kW three-phase hybrid inverters with scalable low-voltage batteries.

As a result, installers have more choice when designing solar and storage systems.

The solutions can support a variety of applications. They also provide flexibility for projects with different energy and storage requirements.

Ultimately, Solplanet brings performance, flexibility, and scalability together. The new portfolio is designed to help installers build smarter energy systems for Australia.
